The Ragdoll Cart · Signature experience
A boat-shaped wooden cart wrapped in real starfish and seashells, hand-lettered and crowned with a thatched palapa umbrella — with Monica behind the counter. Bring it to your party, shower or workplace and watch everyone drift its way.

Hand-lettered name, the folk-art panel and a scatter of real starfish.

A full fringe of thatch that reads “party” from across the yard.

Red, white and green, with painted calaveras keeping watch.
How it works
Send your date, city and guest count — or configure The Ragdoll Cart package to see an itemized summary.
Menu, serving window, setup spot, access and power are agreed with you before anything is confirmed.
Monica arrives, styles the cart and serves your guests through the agreed window.
The cart rolls out on schedule. You keep the photos and the stories.
Made for these moments

Where you may have met the cart
Before this website, there was the cart — and Monica behind it, at art nights, festivals and workplaces around South Orange County.
Owner-provided history, listed for context. No organizer endorsement is implied.
Inspiration

Imagine it at your event: these are AI-generated illustrative concepts for inspiration. The people, settings, the cart’s interpretation and any food shown are not a past Mexican Ragdoll event, a client, or a confirmed menu. Every photo labeled “Real photo” is genuine.

Logistics
Plan a level, accessible spot with room for the cart and for guests to gather in front of it. Every venue is different, so share yours and we will confirm the fit — we don’t guess at measurements for your space.
The cart has been set up indoors before. Tell us about doorways, gates, stairs, slopes, elevators and how close a vehicle can unload, and we will confirm access during planning.
Let us know whether outdoor power is available near the spot you have in mind. We will tell you what your setup needs once the menu and serving plan are set.
San Clemente is home base, with a focus on South Orange County. Send your date and city — Monica confirms availability personally. An inquiry never auto-confirms a date.
The cart shines at small and mid-size gatherings, commonly 15–60 guests. For bigger events we will talk honestly about pacing, staffing and whether a combined format suits you better.
The menu is agreed with you in advance around Monica’s specialties and what the cart can properly support. The cart has no refrigeration, so cold items such as ceviche are offered only where they can be kept properly cold.
Share them in your inquiry. We plan and label around your guests, but we never promise an allergen-free environment.
Tell us about shade and shelter at your venue. Outdoor plans should always include a covered fallback; we will talk it through with you.
Tell us the date, the city and roughly how many guests. Monica will take it from there — personally.
